We're Hiring!

Mobile/Web Developers - Junior & Senior Roles

About Mippin

Mippin is the largest developer of apps in the world!

We have already delivered over 50,000 apps to app stores globally and have an ambitious plan to build over 1 million apps in the next 12 months!

We build native apps for all major smartphone and tablet platforms, including:

- iOS (iPhone and iPad)
- Android (smartphone and tablet)
- BlackBerry (smartphone and PlayBook)
- Windows Phone 7.5
and HTML5 web apps

We also build world leading app-creation platforms (the App Factory) that we license to major handset manufacturers and mobile operators.

As we expand the team we’re always looking for talented software engineers - mobile developers, front-end web (HTML, CSS, Javascript) and back end server-side developers (Java, J2EE).

About the role

Currently we’re looking to fill at least two fantastic roles; one that combines hands-on front-end web development with team-leading and working directly with key clients, the other focused more on pure development than team-leading.

Specific technical skills we’re looking for include great front-end web development skills:

HTML 4/5
CSS 2/3
Javascript
JQuery
JSP/PHP
AJAX
XML
JSON

The ideal candidates would also have experience in SQL/MySQL and NoSQL technologies (Cassandra, Node etc).

We expect the team lead candidate to be currently leading a team of 2-4 developers, or a senior developer with an aspiration to be a team lead.

The team lead candidate would also be expected to be client-facing and support the management of live services  - an attitude of identifying issues and working with the team and the client to get things fixed is essential! Strong communication skills – both written and oral – are a key requirement.

We expect all team members to be passionate, hard-working, reliable, enthusiastic, and in return we offer exciting world-leading projects and a fun working environment.
